Had some drinks at the Aviary after work today with a few colleagues to mark the end of our contract. C and S never fails to inspire me with their adventures around the world be it New York, Tokyo, Milan to Madrid. The world is really their playground.

Looking back at my taiwan files, I didn't realise the surplus of photos I have yet to share with you guys. Stay tuned for an influx of travel photos! Some from my lx3, many from my Taiwan buddy's dslr (thank you anthony!). They're one year late but better late than never right?

Not gonna deny that I'm a really lazy non-sporty person who lives to eat rather than eat to live. So I'm particularly jealous of those people who can just eat all the fatty shit they want and not gain a single pound!

I've never been much of a makeup guru.
And recently I've gotten even lazier with my makeup.
My everyday routine is made up of bb cream, concealer and eyeliner.
I really miss my falsies though!

I usually stick to my japanese/korean brands for makeup,
and MAC used to be (is it still?) so hyped by everyone that it kind of turned me off a little.

Got these from Peter Alexander for $14. Technically it didn't cost me anything though cos I used a Giftcard sam got me for my birthday!

It's not something I would usually go for but for some reason I was attracted to these. Sam advised me to get the black and white version but I decided to choose the wilder of the two! I haven't worn these out of the house yet but i'd probably only wear them to the beach or for grocery shopping or something. Don't think I'm daring enough to where this colour combination anywhere else!

I have always been a long-haired girl. My mid-length hair actually looks alright this time around. But for the many times my mum forced me to cut my hair short as a child, I looked extra ugly! For the lucky or unlucky few who managed to take a peek at the vlog which I sneakily deleted last night, I apologise for my retardness although I know you secretly enjoy watching anyway ;)

I'm going to try and standardise the quality of the photos on my blog this year. No more pixelated webcam and iphone selcas! This is all done in effort to familiarise myself with my camera again before I jet off overseas. I want to be able to take amazing photos when I travel!

And honestly I really enjoy photographing FOOD. One of my many childhood ambitions was to be a food critic and write reviews on restaurants for magazines or travel to different countries and introduce new cuisines to an audience. DREAM JOB RIGHT THERE.

Pictures above are from when I caught up with my high school friend around Mount Lawley earlier this week. The wine bar we had our eyes set on was closed and so we settled for Five Bar just a few shops down. Kudos for the large homey interior, good food and wide selection of drinks. The bowtie on our waiter gets brownie points too!

I rarely ever see C so we spent the afternoon updating each other on life, future plans and reminiscing on high school memories. I feel a little shorthanded when all I can talk about is my boring accounting degree while being blown-away by all her gigs and america adventures.

It's a sad reality that people drift apart as they chose different pathways in life- whether intentional or not. The people who make an effort to keep in touch and stay a part of your life, are diamonds. ♥

I feel like a lady of leisure because I'm only working two days this week LOL. I hate to admit this but I think I really am a workaholic!

Went to get my hair fixed today because the hairdresser dyed my hair and MISSED A SPOT. How unprofessional! I swear I have the worst luck with hairdressers in Perth. White hairdressers don't understand me cos I'm Asian and Asian hairdressers don't understand me cos I'm not asian enough. Story of my life.

Best hairdresser I've had would have to be the one in Taiwan by far. He knew exactly what to do despite the communication barrier. I SHOULD HAVE BROUGHT HIM BACK WITH ME.

I bought some cakes home from utopia on the way home for the family to eat for tea and made chicken udon for dinner. I've been frightfully domesticated these holidays. I try fighting off the female stereotype so badly but I secretly love cooking, cleaning and babies wtf.

All very last minute this year but it worked out well as I got to see most of the people I wanted to see. ♥ Nothing abnormal from a normal saturday night out with dinner and clubs followed by deep and meaningful conversations at supper and on the journey home.

BUT NEVER AGAIN AM I SPENDING THE BEGINNING AND END OF MY YEAR AT METROCITY.

I have visions of myself celebrating nye on rooftops looking upon majestic skylines, at timesquare counting down with the masses, in the middle of open fields looking up at the stars, or by the beach next to a fire watching the sun rise. In none of them am I sweating like crazy, taking down multiple tequila shots or running away from crazy girls and strange boys!

But I do give credit to metros for the good music that night and their aid in allowing me wish so many friends happy new years in real life because perth is so small and boring that all of us sad sad asians don't know where else to go party and all end up in the same place.

In terms of my goals for the year ahead, I've attempted to pen down the strategic plans I have in my head and, have failed each and every time. As I've grown older I've realise the importance of setting goals but more so the importance of understanding the drive behind pursuing those goals along with having the resilience and discipline needed to see them carried through. All I wish for each year is to make progress in the areas just mentioned. Welcome 2012!

This year has gone by so quickly! It's probably not right for me to say this about myself but reflecting back on the last twelve months, I have grown so much as a person. I wish I could go back in time and tell the 18 year old me what I know now at 20 wtf. Imagine the amount of face-palming I'd be doing at 50 years old. What can I say but so many mistakes made, so many lessons learnt! I am grateful for all the experiences and relationships formed to date.

Highlights of 2011;

Spent 7 weeks in Taiwan and indulging in their food, people, shopping and culture!

I LOVE YOU TAIWAN. The most valuable part of my trip would have been meeting so many amazing locals and foreigners. A big thank you to Anthony for putting up with me for the entire trip. If anyone is looking for a good boyfriend, Anthony is very patient when it comes to shopping trips HAHAHA.

Got my drivers license.

Those who have been reading my blog for quite some time would know of my immense fear of driving. Ignoring the fact that I got my Learners permit at the age of 16, the reality that I passed my practical on the first go and am a complete speed junkie now is really quite amazing. Now I want to learn manual so I can drive a super hot sports car when I'm rich and famous in the very distant and/or unlikely future wtf.

Became a CPA Ambassador.

Being a "CPA Ambassador" basically involved doing sales promotion at my uni. Thank you to my friend Penny who alerted me about this opportunity! Although it was an unpaid position, the perks of being connected with CPA were priceless. The advice and motivation given to me by multiple experienced professionals met through conferences and networking events have proven to be a great asset. Biggest highlight would have been meeting the auditor-general and state treasurer.

Went to Melbourne.

Sam and I travelled together for the very first time to sought out the food and shopping spots of melbourne! The highlight of the trip would of course have to be meeting Melody, Min and Tam in real life for the first time. Emphasis on the word first time because a second is definitely to come. Melbourne, I'll be back!

Changed my university degree.

I made the decision to drop a degree during mid this year. Apart from the disgusting timetable of an arts and commerce double student, continuing my language studies does not align with my long term career goals. I'd like to carry on with my studies in the future but for now I try practicing my speaking with my Japanese and Chinese friends whenever I get the chance.

Worked at Cotton On.

I was very happy to get this job just because I needed a change in environment and of course because of the 50% staff discount LOL. But I've come to realise you honestly don't need a staff discount to find killer deals at cotton on stores. Blog entry about this to come!

Discovered Sydney.

Sydney was planned on short notice compared to Taiwan and Melbourne. My favourite visits in Sydney would have had to be Chinatown and the Blue Mountains. I was also lucky enough to have met up with Tezza, Gerry and Bunny!!

Learned to love again.

This is a topic I well and truly wish to avoid but the fact is for a quarter of this year I held someone especially close to my heart. I am grateful for the memories that person left me with and for his patience in teaching me how to trust again. I have so much more to learn in terms of relationships but I'd like to think I've developed somewhat of an understanding of what I look for in a guy and where I stand in life right now.

Participated in Homeless Connect 2011.

Homeless Connect involves a day where services are provided to overcome the long and short term effects of homelessness within the community. My day involved handing out nappies and other baby necessities to parents who are unable to take care of themselves, yet alone children. Not going to pretend I'm some mother theresa or something. Whether we know it or not, we all perform charitable deeds with some sort of selfish intention. Mine was to remind myself to keep a compassionate heart and stay open-minded.

Deloitte Dream Team

I was really lucky to be selected given that I submitted my application one day before the closing date! It was a learning experience and eye-opener but not one I particularly enjoyed. The weeks surrounding the event were filled with anxiousness and insomnia due to multiple deadlines, appointments and personal issues. Happy to have met the inspirational students I met though. (:

Did vacation work at an accounting firm.

Yet another eye-opener into what working life is like! Spent a week doing tax returns for people who get taxed more a year than I have ever earned my entire life and another week in audit prying into company accounts.The greatest lesson learnt from my two weeks of work experience would be to enjoy uni life as much as possible while I still can wtf.

Spent Christmas at Tiffany's

Being successful in my application for Tiffany's still feels so surreal. The best surprise for me would be that most of my colleagues and clients are actually quite nice and down to earth and not the pretentious snobs I anticipated. My summer here has definitely made me more runway conscious and has also sparked a greater appreciation for femininity and elegance. My contract is nearly over and hopefully I can find another job with ease. And preferably at somewhere that I won't spend every dollar I earn fml.

This Christmas was a quiet one, it was my christmas eve that was hectic. In the morning, we had breakfast as a family to celebrate my mums birthday, then I had work till 4pm, and then I ran around the city like crazy doing some very last minute christmas shopping before the shops closed at 5pm. At night, I had dinner with my wokinabox crew at Nicholsons Bar and Grill. The pizza's there are so big and noms!

Hihihihi lovers, I did have an extremely long post written up but have decided not to publish it as it was overly wordy.

Here is a quick update on life-

1.I have been playing santas little helper to many lucky girls at Tiffany&Co this summer holidays! (Hence my recent Tiffany obsession) It's just a contract position for the christmas period and also the reason why I left Cotton On. I'm not too sure what I'm going to do after this is over but i'm really enjoying working here right now.

2. I've bought my first car! It's good cos now I don't have to share with my mum, but bad cos I have to be very cautious about speeding because its under my name. I'm actually a really big speed junkie! Good thing its only a small little toyota and not a sports car. I could have afforded to buy my dream nissan micra but I decided the money would be better spent on travel.

3. Travel plans for next year includes germany and singapore! Hong Kong too if I decide I can afford it.

My camera deserves more sunlight! I must make an effort to take it out more.

This picture marks the day I finally gave into temptation and bought my first ever Tiffany item.

When I think rationally, spending $135 on a small sterling silver pendant is ~~a bit~~ ridiculous!

Random fact:

The Return To Tiffany collection was inspired by a promotion by Tiffany&Co which provided a key chain engraved with a serial code and the phrase "Please Return to Tiffany&Co". You'd disclose your details with Tiffany so if your keys went missing they would be returned to Tiffany and Tiffany would then match the serial code with your details and call to tell you they have your keys!

If they had this service now I'd think people would just steal the keyring and throw the keys away wtf.

2011 fantasy treasure bra

So it's that time of the year again where Victoria's Secret hosts a fashion show and also show off a new fantasy bra. Since 1996 a new fantasy bra with luxurious jewels is designed and modelled by one of the angels.

Didn't really pay much attention to the past years but this years fantasy bra caught my eye because its so freaking pretty and is modelled by Miranda Kerr!

Like many other aussie girls, I think I worship Miranda Kerr because one, she's hot. Two, she's Australian. And three, she married my teenage crush Orlando Bloom. T___T

Designed by London Jewelers and inspired by the ünderwater dreamland" theme, it is my definition of perfect. The thing I love most about this bra is the pretty shade of blue and the use of pearls! The scallop cutting is cute and I adore the centerpiece dangling in the middle and two chains of pearls hanging on the side.

With so many precious stone and not to mention two freaking huge yellow diamonds, the price tag this year was $2.5 million. Not too bad considering previous bras reached the 12mil mark!

Recently I've been a lazy ass and have been bumming around watching the kdrama A Thousand Kisses. It's boring, it's mediocre and there is a lack of tension. I seriously don't understand how it achieved such high ranking. But I keep watching it anyway because I am getting some amazing fashion inspiration! Kim So Euns coordinates in each and every episode is PERFECT. I'm not sure what catergory this style falls under but I absolutely love it! It's a little OL but sweet enough not to look too mature?

I only started capturing some of her outfits through screenshots from episode 17 onwards but the blouses and bottoms she wears in earlier episodes are so pretty too!

Spent a fair bit of time today going through my wardrobe sorting out what works with what, and what has no future. I'm motivated to do more outfit posts this summer! I'm actually one week into my glorious 4 month long summer holiday and despite working 6 shifts in 7 days, my lack of productivity is killing me. Last semester has been so hectic that I've forgotten how to take it easy and just chill. I was physically and mentally drained, but I've had a weekends rest and i'm good good good to go again! I do have a few events and tasks lined up but aishhh, I'm finding it hard to keep myself occupied before I start my two new contract jobs.

I'm devastated that fate wouldn't allow me an adventure aboard this summer. I tried planning multiple times, but things just didn't work out. Oh how I long to run away somewhere and soak up a whole new culture and way of life! (And not to mention away from Perths scorching summer.)

Was feeling really shit about myself and life in general today. Went shopping with Sam at Harbour Town. Bought lots. And feel a whole lot better now. LOL. Petty female minds...

Look at these cute undies I bought from Cotton On Body! There's just something so exclusive and intimate about lingerie that I abosloutely adoreeeee. ♥ My future husband better have a lingerie fetish and buy me expensive lingerie all the time. LOL.

Causal outfits; dressed head to toe in Cotton On products.

Mum hates it when I wear anything with animal prints.

When she saw me the other day she was like,

I don't really mind wearing one piece of Cotton On clothing to work,

but having to fix an entire coordinate is proving to be a huge headache.

I'm sorry, I just can't do it. There's something not right.

I'm finding it very hard to adapt to the brand image, if they even have one.

I feel like there's just this tiny element missing in their clothes.

Overall working at Cotton On has been fun!

Customers are indefinitely the best bit of the job.

So surprised when some come up and asks me for fashion advice

then take make words like its life and death

My friend said karma is a bitch and is now going to bite me back.

Cos I am one of those terrible shoppers who never put things back where they got them from.

But actually I really enjoy fixing up after customers... I like cleaning and organising!

I feel a bit stupid ordering on the online store for Forever New. There's practically a Forever New in every major shopping mall in my area but it was a time of crisis and I was in much need of retail theraphy ok!! T__T

Forever New is probably my favourite mass retailer in Australia. The rest of the time I prefer to buy clothes online, at markets, or at small boutiques with one-of-a-kind and unique finds.

If you spend over a certain amount, your order comes wrapped in tissue in one of these pretty gift boxes.

And here are my buys-

I bought a top, cardi, scarf and shorts. The scarf was really to get to the amount needed for free shipping but omgs its made of silk and feels so gooooood.

Q: Whats worse than a 8am-9pm day of uni and work on your birthday?

A: Being in bed all day with a box of tissues, running a high fever and dying...alone.

Never have I been so sick that my body feels paralysed and I can't even answer a phonecall. When did I become so weak :( Going to have to stop skipping meals, and sleep, ease of the liquor, exercise, eat my fruits and vegs and start taking supplements! Cos I'm no where near pretty or rich enough to be the frail but kindhearted girl you see in dramas lololll.

Mascara is useless to me. My stubborn asian eyelashes just won't seem to cooperate regardless how much volumising and lengthening I try for.

so falsies are they way to go.

lashes from taiwan. only bought 3 boxes of eyelashes in taiwan because anthony kept stopping me. BOO should have travelled around with a female.

Cardigan reduced from $40 down to $7! I ended up shopping at the store I had a job interview at. what a fail. Good news is, I got the job and start training next week!

The last 3 months have felt more like 6 months, lots has been going on! I'm sitting in as judge panelist this weekend and hopefully volunteering in a mental health initiative at the royal show for the next. Should be good :D

My actual birthday's this tuesday but I have a full day of uni and work.

Many life lessons learnt this year. I can no longer afford to remain a child.

behind that smile is sorrow and in those eyes are fatigue. "i'm good, thank you" and "fine", lies through the teeth believed by family, friends and strangers alike. delirious, i bury myself behind closed walls in desperation. Secretly dying on the inside, I wonder how I ended up isolating myself so much that there is no longer anyone for me to turn to. must I hide my weakness and vulnerability to all? Misery, helplessness and alone. pressures of in every aspect of living. my entire being is exhausted. physically, im here. yet the rest of me is in a different world. a dangerous idea creeped in my mind; what if i don't wake up tomorrow? let my body go to where my soul is. the peace accompanying it sounds promising. yet to take up that path- wouldn't that be the ultimate weakness? Decisions.

Frankly speaking i've never been a big supporter of awareness days. I mean, there's just too many! Seriously- who creates and endorses all these days? Yet today, I'd just like to say; appreciate life. It frightens me that I penned down such dangerous thoughts earlier this year and that there are other people out there feeling this way at this very instant. Approach your loved ones not just today, but every other day and make sure they are okay, and not just the okay they mutter with their tongue. Life's too short to be sad, life's too precious to be lost.

August disappeared right under my nose.

I probably put a little too much unnecessary pressure on myself this month.

Apart from study and like 4329052 hours of work, here's a mini photo diary of what I've been up to...

Interviews; didn't really get any support from the family and was secretly dying on the inside. thank you to the two people who wished me luck, you know who you are. you got me through the days ♥

Deloitte dream team; quite a good experience and a bit of an eye opener! was really lucky to be selected since I submitted my application only day before the closing date.

Office opening ceremony @ alluvion; champagne, canapes and classical music- was feeling so posh! met some people with some pretty impressive positions that night. This man was the sweetest thing ever and was like "amanda, you're young, you're gorgeous but don't waste your time on boys ...they're useless. money on the other hand, will take you places." LOL

More networking events; and that puts the end to my 7 consecutive alcohol-free weeks T__T. Been talking to a lot of graduates recently and the pathway I aspire towards appears stressful and lonely. It's like saying my goal after uni involves slitting my wrist everyday wtf.

Events organisation; had our very first stall just yesterday :*). The picture above is actually of a recycled clothes sale organised by the lovely people at Health Promotions. Me being the nosy shopaholic that I am just had to abandon my booth to check them out!

Oh hiiiii, I've been very busy but I'm probably a lot less stressed now than I have been for the last two weeks. I'm just happy that I don't have trouble sleeping anymore!

Pink and white seems to be a very popular combination lately! I wore this to dinner with friends and it turned out that Audrey was wearing a very similar outfit. We couldn't help but laugh at the coincidence. :*)

After my very first breakup, I became a lot more superficial.

I became more fashion and beauty conscious.

I lacked confidence and wanted to feel beautiful.

Maybe it was because I thought if I was prettier he'd take me back.

Or maybe I just wanted to make him see what he was missing.

It feels like such a long time ago that I've forgotten the reason already.

Either way, I was young, I was heartbroken, I was stupid.

I hope no girl will ever feel the way I did and know that they are beautiful inside and out.

Anyway, I used to only wear BB Cream.

Then starting from mid last year,

I wore heavier make up on a daily basis.

concealer, falsies, blush, etc etc.

Before that my skin was really nice and little care was required.

I'd only ever use cleanser.

and get a small pimple every now and then.

But! Due to long days away from home,

fast foods, improper meals,

late nights, coming home exhausted,

half-heartedly washing the cake off my face..

my skin was neglected.

I've been struggling to repair my skin ever since,

and although it's been a slow progress, improvements are showing yay yay!

I still wear makeup on a daily basis,
but I made a change in my lifestyle.

amanda's core skincare rules-

1. Cleanse, tone and moisturise daily.

2. Remove all your make-up, and properly!

3. Eat healthy, cut down on sugary and processed foods.

4. Sleep early, wake up early. Or at least get sufficient sleep.

5. Drink lots of water!
6. DON'T PINCH YOUR PIMPLES.

I'm suffering from major blemishes now due to pinching fml :(
...Hopefully they'll fade away with time.

Don't neglect your skin and don't make the same mistakes I did!

During my time in Taiwan, I was lusting over everything at the Jill Stuart counters at department stores! I particularly had my eyes on this Christmas limited edition set but I was on a tight budget back then and couldn't really justify spending 2900NT at one go.

Its been almost a year since it's release and I finally decided to treat myself and bought it online!

The seller was nice enough to send it with its original box and paper bag.

My favourite item would definitely have to be the blush.

Its packaging and colour is pure love and the brush is so soft!

Probably the only thing I won't be using from the collection. Selling to anyone interested.

This was my first time purchasing Jill Stuart cosmetics and I'm pretty impressed with the quality and of course the mega pretty packaging. ♥ Can't wait to see what they have installed for Christmas 2011! I promise I won't be a cheapskate this year. lolol!

I can honestly say I've met more interesting people in the last month than I have this entire year.
It's refreshing to meet young people with who are proactive in the community,
rather than the usual social, drink and party crowd.

Yet I can't help but differentiate the ones who are truly passionate, to those with ulterior motives.

There is nothing wrong with ambition. Or the pursuit of a higher quality of lifestyle.

It's important to surround yourself with good company.
But when you start looking down on people cos you think you're better than them,
when you build relationships, not for the genuine pleasure of connecting with a person,
and all you care about is what that person can offer or benefit you,
when you abandon the ones you love along the way,
pack your bags, buy a plane ticket, and get far far away from here.

That was the one line I kept singing while we were up at Blue Mountains.

And I think it pissed the hell out of my friends. hahahaha

But look! isn't this totally a Qantas worthy moment?

For those who aren't familiar with the Spirit of Australia ad. This is it...

Pretty ironic that if it wasn't for foreign ownership caps, the majority of Qantas probably wouldn't be owned by Australians right now.

Anyway..

We made a day trip to Blue Mountains on one of our days in Sydney. I was totally pumped about going on a road trip and documenting it via videos but I fell asleep 15mins in and woke up when we got there. FML.

The Blue Mountains are so beautiful and the air is so crisp! How I wish I could just spend a weekend up there to just chill out and go tracking.

I was looking for a thick coat specifically for my Sydney trip but had no luck at myers or david jones. But just a week before I left, Cindy was selling this one and it was love at first sight. ♥ I literally lived in it.

Sonam and I convinced Jeff and Nat to do an hours worth of tracking with us. :D

Only downside about this coat is that its from Japan and either Japanese people are too short or I'm just too tall.

Ice-cream is best during winter :*)

Went to Scenic world and took a ride on the worlds steepest railway and went on a cable cabin with a glass floor!

We made our way down just before the sunset and as expected I fell asleep again. =.=

Didn't really go store scouting in Sydney since it was meant to be purely a eating and sightseeing trip. But here's a few of the things I bought here and there...

Boots from Chinatown. There's a story behind these.. the store owner accidentally gave me two left feet in two different sizes. I only realized after returning to the hotel and we had to walk all the way back to Chinatown to exchange them lolol.

Also, Students get a 10% discount at Ally and Forever New in Sydney??? No fair, favourtism right there!

你不知道你对我多么重要...but! I'm no Helena. What stung most was that failure to hold on. My biggest regret would be my lack of grace in handling this situation. To knowingly give a genuine heart to one who wants it not, is something I should not and will not persist on. Another day, another heartbreak. Pain is only temporary. No more tears shall be shed for the departure of this companion and even the tingly bliss of yesterdays shall soon become nothing more than vivid memories.

Went to Sydney Opera House and its surroundings for obligatory tourist pictures. I looked terrible courtesy of the Sydney night scene. So many places and foody places I never got to go to. Sydney, I'll be back!

There's something I find totally hot about a guy who rides a motorbike. Never really understood this overly repeated concept in films as a child. But suddenly I find ecstasy in the thrill and danger of it all.

Take me on a joyride in the middle of the night and let the world fade away.

Far less satisfying than motorbikes, but scooters are everywhere in Taiwan. The one of many things I miss is having our local friends take us around on scooters. Feeling the winter breeze in my hair, fearing I'd only have one eyelash on by the time I got off... good times.

Looking back at my Taiwan photos has reignited a desire to be proactive and for adventure. My current sense of comfortability with life and the way things are makes me feel.... highly uncomfortable.

Four Points is really nice but the darling harbour view from our room wasn't that great in my opinion.

I didn't really expect to do anymore traveling this year but am glad I went to Sydney cos I got to meet Tezza, Gerry and Bunny! Tezza and Gerry are Sydney natives while Bunny is from Brissy and was coincidentally holidaying in Sydney at the same time. So sorry that it took me so long to blog about this girls. ♥

So we planned to meet at 10.30 at Chinatown but I got a little lost! I was feeling super bad about being late but good thing Bunny was running a little late too and arrived just before me.

We wanted to go to this noodle bar in Chinatown but they weren't opened yet and so we went to Pepper Lunch instead. I was secretly very happy inside because I've always wanted to try Pepper Lunch in Malaysia and Singapore but never got the chance LOL.

I love Japanese food chains... especially yoshinoya omgs. mos burger's quite good too.

Basically you get your meal on a hot plate and you're suppose to "cook" the meat yourself.

I think this was the hamburger steak? Tsk tsk to Tezza and Gerry for not eating their bean sprouts.
The most fail viets i know! LOL

I love how natural we all got along! Although it was our first time meeting in real life, it felt like we've known each other since forever and were just old friends catching up.

After lunch, we headed to Paddys market for some shopping.

Soon Bunnys boyfriend arrived to pick bunny up and I went to look for Jeff&co who were still shopping around paddys. Later that day we headed to pitt street mall and qvb for shopping then had dinner at Sydneys sky tower! :D

Later on we went to Metros to see Roger Shah's set. As much as I love you Roger Shah, trance is my meditation and chilled out music. I was soooo sleepy!

Went for supper at 4am then back to Benards place in the absence of Benard and watched tv with Jason till 6am.

No more late nights from now on. I intend to wake up early to exercise and watch bloomberg before hiding in abacus labs for the rest of the day. I probably say this every time but I'm going to work harder this semester. Looking to the future and trying to pull my course average up!

I had a 15 minute d&m with this old Italian man at the bus stop today. When he first approached me I thought he was some seedy old man with a possible Asian fetish and was rather ashamed when he turned out to be completely harmless and in fact shared many similar life values to me. Dear mister luciano, thank you for inspiring me to dream big, stay optimistic and always have a good heart.

First day in Sydney--

I arrived at Sydney Airport in the evening and proceeded to cabbing it to four points by Sheraton to meet the others. Those lucky babies were holidaying in Melbourne before flying to Sydney!

Explored Darling Harbour by night since it was close to our hotel.

Went to Pancakes on the Rocks for dessert. Why can't Perth have 24 hour places like these. :(

I loved my old Canmake eyeliner, but the only problem is that it wasn't very waterproof! So I decided to try the 1 Day Tattoo Eyeliner by K-Palette this time around. And I just had to get the special pink edition.

When it came in the mail, I was surprised that the parcel was so big for one tiny eyeliner! But turns out it came with this free single.. but I don't own a CD player so I can't even listen to it. lolol The thing I love most about this eyeliner is that it's waterproof but comes off easily when you rub it off with warm water. And the tip is really fine as well! Defts recommend this eyeliner to everyone. (:

I did it, I finally did it.

I FREAKING BOUGHT FROM ZIPIA.

For those of you who aren't familiar with zipia, it's this korean online wholesale store that sells the most gorgeous womens and mens wear. ♥ ♥ ♥ I could seriously buy everything on there omgs.

This was just meant to be a "show off" post but I am so happy with my experience at zipia that I just had to share. So if you don't really care, just skip the text and check out my new pretty clothes! HAHAHA.

What they stock: I'm not too concerned about the guys but, for girls...everything from tops, dresses, skirts, shorts, acessories, shoes and bags.

Price: A lot pricier than your average asian wholesaler. A top averages at around $25-$30USD but there are also basic pieces for as low as $6 and more unique pieces that sell for over $50.

Minimum purchase: $300USD + shipping cost. This is the one thing that has stopped me from buying from zipia all these years. It's best to pool with a group of friends if you don't want to break your wallet.

I failed to take my own advice and purchased by myself and now I'm so poor fml. All together I bought 12 pieces of clothing and 1 acessory.

Shipping: They ship via EMS. A little pricey but worth it since you have to sign for your package and get faster delivery. My order accumulated a shipping cost of just under $60. So it works out to be around $5 per item. (update: The actual cost of shipping was $39 so zipia refunded me the extra!)

Processing: I was very impressed with zipia's processing service. I made an order and payment on Sunday and received confirmation on the same day. The day after I received another notification to inform me that my items have been shipped and on Friday I received my package :D

Packaging: Everything was packaged nicely and securely in a big box. The items weren't squished together to save on postage or anything like that. ♥ Each item was folded nicely and individually wrapped. Even the quality of the wrapping it came in was such good quality wtf.

Quality: 9/10! Everything is made in korea and the material is of really good quality. The quality of the clothes is comparable to Australian brands such as Forever New and Bardot. There were no defects, loose buttons, loose threads or anything like that for the pieces I ordered.

Description: 10/10! Apart from modelled pictures, they also provide pictures of the actual item itself so what you see is what you get. In addition, unlike with many experiences I've had with asian online shops, the colour and pattern of the material were as describe.

Sizing: The tops are all One Size and some of the bottoms come in S and M and if you're lucky L. I was a bit worried that the clothes would run too small for me at first because korean girls are tinyyyyy. But if you check the sizing measurements beforehand like I did you should be good. The only thing I would have to caution you on is that a S is probably around a AUS 6 or US 2 while their M is around a AUS 8 or US 4. I need to loose an inch or so before being able to look good in those pretty pink shorts sobs. T__T

As you can tell I'm very happy with my buys from zipia and can't wait to show you the rest of my purchases in outfit posts! I'll definitely be buying from zipia again...but probably with a group of friends and not by myself. hehehe.

It's winter in Aussieland now but I still wear clothes like these to sleep. Yes, I'm an idiot.

I love Beijing tshirt, from Beijing. It's just one of those touristy things you need to get when you're on holiday! It was super cheap! Like 15rmb? Which is around $2.50 aud. I got the chinese character version instead of the Ï ♥ BJ" version because I don't want to be mistaken for a whore. LOL

The cute mens boxer shorts were from the night markets of Taiwan. Again super cheap, 50twd which is like under $2.00 aud. So cheap but so comfy :D

I find myself tying my hair up more often than not after getting my perm. Simply because i'm too lazy to blowdry and style my hair properly.

Perming my hair even though my hair is in such poor condition, shame on me.

Performing half-heartedly and unprofessionally, SHAME ON TOP IMAGE KAWARAWA.

I'm very disappointed with the service I got there and recommend everyone to avoid going there at all costs. Just about everything they did, from perming, to washing, to cutting my hair felt as if it was taken very lightly. They even stained my top! grrrr.

I went into Peter Alexandar today to find myself some more winter appropriate pyjamas. Everything in there is so cute eeeeeeee ♥♥♥. But everything is also so expensive sobs. I ended up walking out with this cute and expensive shower cap instead. Winter pyjamas mission failed fml.

At $24.90, its is obviously alot better quality than your average shower cap. They come in lots of different cute prints! The outside is cotton and the inside is pvc. I intend on wearing this to bed when I want to leave treatment in my hair overnight. (:

&& I'll be jetting off to Sydney in a couple of weeks!!

And I'm sort of in charge of the itinerary.

I was tagged by Gerry ages ago to do a "10 things I like" tag but I never got to it because,

1. I really suck at completing tags. Seriously, noone tag me.

2. I couldn't think of 10 things from the top of my head I liked.

So, I've decided to blog about them individually as and when they come to me. So...

#1 Korean Dramas

No so much anymore since I have less time to waste nowadays ..but I used to be a hugeee drama addict. I think I've watched at the very least 25 full series of kdramas so far, not counting dramas I've re-watched!

25x 16+ episodes x 1hour for each= a heck load of time wasted!

I've decided to halt my intense drama watching ways until I am a rich old aunty with nothing better to do. lolol

Some people say korean dramas are too dramatic but umm hello, its called a drama for a reason right?? ^__^

I'm currently re-watching my all time fav drama, Autumn Tale. Next two favourite dramas would have to be My Girl and Sad Love Story.

My mind has not been with me and I've been feeling super uneasy and confused for the last few days. I suppose kdrama is my form of remedy - the greatest deception I willingly submit into. I joined the facebook group "Korean dramas gave me a false expectation of my love life". XD

Went to Tong86 tonight for kbbq since everyone was done with exams. For some reason, we seem to always go for korean food. No more korean food next time! Promise.

Tong86 gives off a very casual ambience and totally feels like one of those bbq stores you see in kdramas! The seafood pancake was especially yummy and all the meats totally set me back on my "lose x'kgs before Sydney" goal.

I really like this drink but noone else seemed to!
